Kernel privilege escalation via socket IOCTL validation bypass

Elevation of privilege in Microsoft Windows AFD.sys allows local users to gain kernel-level control through crafted socket operations. A TDX transport path bypasses AFD.sys IOCTL allowlisting and message conversion, causing the lower TCP/IP and QoS handlers to trust an attacker-supplied object pointer. Exploitation requires a process able to open a TCP or UDP transport device; most sandboxed or low-integrity processes cannot reach that device.
