Stored XSS via unsanitized profile information
Published Aug 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in PluXML 5.8.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in visitors' browsers through profile information. core/admin/profil.php stores the Information field without neutralizing executable markup, then renders it on pages or articles created by that user. An account able to edit its profile must plant the payload, and another user must view affected content; script runs in the PluXML origin.
