Authenticated command execution via unescaped network selector
Published Aug 24, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Command injection in RaspAP 2.6.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands through Wi-Fi client selection. DisplayWPAConfig concatenates the POST connect value directly into a sudo wpa_cli select_network shell command without quoting or validation. Access to the authenticated Wi-Fi client controls is required, and injected commands execute in the web application host context.
