Information disclosure in Raspberry Pi 3 B+ and 4 B devices through 2021-08-09 allows remote attackers to recover speech via power-LED emissions. The power indicator LED is wired directly to the power line, causing audio-dependent power consumption to modulate its light intensity for optical-audio reconstruction. Exploitation requires powered speakers, line of sight, a telescope, and an electro-optical sensor; the demonstrated consequence is passive speech disclosure.
