Code execution via undisclosed memory corruption
Published Nov 3, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Memory corruption in Mozilla Firefox before 93, Firefox ESR before 91.2, and Thunderbird before 91.2 allows remote attackers to run code. Mozilla has not disclosed the affected functions or the incorrect memory operations that corrupt memory in the grouped bugs. Exploitation requires user interaction with attacker-controlled browser or browser-like content; normal Thunderbird email reading is not exposed because scripting is disabled.
