Out-of-bounds write in AUVESY versiondog 8.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter memory via crafted API requests. Multiple remotely callable API function codes accept raw pointers and treat their resolved addresses as valid in-bounds memory without validation. Exploitation requires user interaction and permits arbitrary data writes at attacker-chosen resolved addresses; no disclosure or service interruption is reported.
