Improper restriction of excessive authentication attempts in InHand Networks IR615 Router 2.3.0.r4724 and 2.3.0.r4870 allows remote attackers to gain credentials. The login page lacks an account-lockout policy, so unlimited password guesses can continue without time limitation or normal-operation safeguards. Successful guessing grants valid credentials for the product interface; exploitation requires network access to the login service and does not require prior authentication.
