CVE-2021-38450Network attack vector

Authenticated controller-flow alteration via unsanitized code syntax

Published Oct 27, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Code injection in Trane Tracer SC before 4.4 SP7 and Tracer Concierge before 5.5 SP3 allows remote authenticated users to alter controller flow. The controllers accept input containing code syntax without adequate sanitization; public records do not identify the affected parameter, endpoint, or parser. A low-privileged network session is required, and injected code can change building-control behavior and interrupt controller availability.
