Write-what-where in AUVESY versiondog 8.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to overwrite arbitrary memory through network APIs. Affected API functions write or copy into client-supplied buffers without restricting the destination memory address. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation grants arbitrary modification of process memory.
