CVE-2021-38409

Service interruption via uninitialized pointer access

Published Dec 20, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Uninitialized-pointer access in Fuji Electric V-Server Lite and Tellus Lite V-Simulator before 4.0.12.0 allows attackers to crash the process. The affected code accesses a pointer before initialization and consequently reads from or writes to unintended memory; the parser, file type, and function are undisclosed. Exploitation requires user interaction with attacker-controlled input, and the published record establishes service interruption but not code execution.
