Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted file upload
Published Oct 28, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in Honeywell Experion PKS C200, C200E, C300, and ACE controllers allows remote attackers to execute code. The affected controller interface accepts attacker-supplied files without restricting dangerous file types; public sources do not name the endpoint or validation logic. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation can run arbitrary code or interrupt controller service.
