Unauthenticated report disclosure via predictable public URLs
Published Oct 27, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Information disclosure in CFEngine Enterprise Hub 3.6.7 through 3.18.0 allows remote attackers to obtain exported reports over HTTPS. Mission Portal writes exported reports into the publicly accessible tmp directory under the HTML document root and gives them easily predictable filenames. Network access to the hub on port 443 is sufficient to read reports containing potentially sensitive data; client machines are unaffected.
