Reflected XSS via unescaped link parameter
Published Dec 14, 2021 · Updated Feb 14, 2025
Reflected XSS in .htaccess Redirect 0.3.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through the link parameter. The htaccess-redirect.php page returns the untrusted link value without the output neutralization required to prevent script execution. Exploitation requires an unauthenticated attacker to persuade a victim to open a crafted URL, enabling script execution in the victim's browser context.
