Reflected XSS via unsanitized position parameter
Published Sep 10, 2021 · Updated May 2, 2025
Reflected XSS in the SMS OVH WordPress plugin 0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via a crafted position parameter. The sms-ovh-sent.php page reflects the position request value into generated HTML without output encoding or sanitization. Exploitation requires a victim to follow an attacker-crafted request, after which the script runs in that victim's browser context and can read or modify page-accessible data.
