Reflected script execution via unescaped error parameter
Published Sep 10, 2021 · Updated May 2, 2025
Reflected XSS in Integration of Moneybird for WooCommerce 2.1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via error_description. The wcmb-admin.php template inserts error_description from the request into rendered error output without neutralizing script markup. A victim must open a crafted URL while the plugin is active; the payload executes in that victim's browser context, where it reads or alters session-accessible data.
