Reflected XSS via unescaped wpas_id output
Published Sep 10, 2021 · Updated May 2, 2025
Reflected XSS in gfirem GFireM Advance Search 1.1.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via wpas_id. The admin options template inserts the wpas_id request value into generated HTML without output escaping, reflecting attacker-controlled markup. Exploitation requires a user to open a crafted request, after which the script runs in that user's browser context and can read or alter accessible page data.
