Authenticated code execution via path-controlled file upload
Published Oct 14, 2021 · Updated Feb 14, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in ThemeFuse Brizy - Page Builder 2.3.11 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code. The brizy_create_block_screenshot AJAX action base64-decodes the ibsf parameter and writes it under an id-derived path without blocking ../ traversal. Any logged-in user can place a double-extension PHP file, and execution depends on a server configuration that treats names such as shell.php.jpg as executable.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
