Subscriber-level post modification via is_admin misuse
Published Oct 14, 2021 · Updated Feb 14, 2025
Incorrect authorization in Brizy - Page Builder 1.0.125 and earlier and 1.0.127 through 2.3.11 allows remote authenticated users to modify posts. The Brizy_Editor::is_administrator and Brizy_Editor_User::is_administrator methods treat WordPress is_admin(), which indicates an administrative request context, as proof of administrator authorization. Any logged-in subscriber who reaches a wp-admin endpoint can overwrite the content of an existing Brizy-authored post or page, including published content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
