Arbitrary script execution via reflected PHP_SELF
Published Sep 10, 2021 · Updated May 2, 2025
Reflected cross-site scripting in Wise Agent Lead Forms 1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts via crafted requests. WiseAgentCaptureForm.php reflects the $_SERVER["PHP_SELF"] value into generated HTML without output encoding, allowing attacker-controlled markup to execute in a browser. Exploitation requires a victim to load a crafted URL; the consequence is script execution in that browser with potential data access or actions available to the victim session, not server-side code execution.
