Browser script execution via unescaped id parameter
Published Sep 9, 2021 · Updated May 5, 2025
Reflected XSS in 3D Cover Carousel 1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts through the id parameter. The cover-carousel.php file reflects the id query value into generated HTML without neutralizing executable markup. Exploitation requires a victim to open a crafted request, after which the injected script runs in that victim's browser under the site's origin.
