Published Aug 16, 2021 · Updated May 5, 2025
Reflected XSS in Smarty Pants Plugins SP Project & Document Manager 4.25 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through crafted URLs. The from and to parameters in functions.php are written into an HTML attribute context without output encoding, allowing supplied markup to become executable script. A victim must open the crafted URL; the injected script then runs in that victim's browser within the affected site's origin.
