Unauthenticated database query execution via crafted ID
Published Oct 28, 2022 · Updated May 8, 2025
SQL injection in SEMCMS 1.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary database queries through the ID parameter in SEMCMS_User.php. The public proof submits a crafted ID value to the endpoint and demonstrates that it reaches a MySQL query without effective neutralization. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation permits reading or altering database data and can interrupt the service.
