Service interruption via NFS READ_PLUS page-array overrun

Out-of-bounds memory access in the Linux kernel before 5.13.4 allows remote attackers to interrupt service through NFS 4.2 READ_PLUS requests. In net/sunrpc/xdr.c, xdr_set_page_base() clamps an offset at the end of page data and then dereferences xdr->buf->pages beyond the allocated page array instead of returning to tail-buffer handling. Unauthenticated network access to an NFS 4.2 service and repeated READ_PLUS operations are required; the reported consequence is service interruption.
