Reflected script execution via insufficient CMS encoding
Published Oct 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in SAP NetWeaver 700, 701, 702, and 730 allows remote attackers to execute script in a victim's browser. The ABAP cms Service in component BC-CTS-TMS insufficiently encodes user-controlled content before reflecting it into a web response. Exploitation requires a victim to submit attacker-supplied content and view the reflected response, exposing browser-accessible data to reading or modification.
