Authenticated command execution via unsanitized spreadsheet formulas
Published Oct 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
CSV injection in SAP Business One before 10.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through exported spreadsheet formulas. The Excel/CSV export routine writes attacker-controlled cell content without neutralizing formula-leading characters, causing Excel to interpret the content as a formula. Execution requires a victim to open the exported file, enable macros, and use Excel security settings that permit command execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
