Authenticated reflected XSS via unneutralized submission identifier
Published Aug 31, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in Form Tools 3.0.20 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a victim's browser via submission_id. The clients/forms/edit_submission.php page reflects the submission_id query value into its response without neutralizing active markup. A low-privileged account and victim interaction are required; successful exploitation exposes or alters browser-accessible data.
