Heap corruption via V8 use-after-free
Published Nov 2, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Use-after-free in V8 in Google Chrome before 95.0.4638.54 allows remote attackers to corrupt heap memory through crafted HTML. Published records identify V8 but do not disclose the freed object, stale reference, or lifetime operation that leaves it reachable. Exploitation requires a user to permit a debugger connection and load the crafted page; heap corruption is the only published consequence.
