Remote code execution via WebRTC stream feedback
Published Nov 2, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Heap buffer overflow in Google Chrome WebRTC before 94.0.4606.81 allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted HTML page. RTPSenderVideoFrameTransformerDelegate::SendVideo copies transformed frame data after a Promise writes read data back into the stream, allowing its ArrayBuffer to be freed before reuse. A user must visit the malicious site and permit webcam access under default settings; successful corruption executes code in the browser process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
