Information disclosure via GHES integration SSRF
Published Dec 7, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Server-side request forgery in Elastic Enterprise Search Workplace Search through 7.15.2 allows remote authenticated admins to view internal hosts. The GitHub Enterprise Server integration issues GET requests to attacker-selected hosts and exposes their responses. Administrator access to the Workplace Search integration is required, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of otherwise non-public host content without integrity or availability impact.
