Authentication bypass via wildcard LDAP query
Published Oct 14, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
LDAP injection in Huntflow Enterprise before 3.10.6 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication through the /account/login endpoint. The login handler places the unvalidated email parameter into an LDAP query, so wildcard characters alter account-selection logic. A valid directory password remains required; a wildcard email value selects a matching account and grants that account's application access.
