Authenticated remote code execution via unrestricted upload
Published Oct 7, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Zoho ManageEngine ADManager Plus 7110 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code remotely. The ADMPSmartCardConfig call accepts an uploaded file without enforcing restrictions on dangerous content, but the exact validation failure and storage path are undisclosed. A valid product session is required, and successful exploitation grants control over the server through attacker-supplied code.
