Unauthenticated access to user accounts
Published Aug 2, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Authentication bypass in resolution SAML SSO apps allows remote attackers to access user accounts with only a known username. The vendor has not disclosed the affected authentication locus or the operation that accepts a username without any other proof of identity. Network access to an enabled app and knowledge of a valid username suffice, and the resulting session carries the targeted account's permissions.
