Unauthenticated administrative access via SQL-injected login
Published Mar 11, 2025 · Updated Mar 21, 2025
SQL injection in the TinyMCE module of ABO.CMS 5.8 through 5.9.3 allows remote attackers to read or modify database data. The unprivileged login_session_auth.php endpoint passes the POST login value to an authentication query without neutralizing SQL syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the demonstrated consequence is authentication bypass into the administrative image manager.
