CVE-2021-37774Public exploit

Arbitrary code execution via JSON authorization bypass

Published Jan 19, 2023 · Updated Apr 4, 2025

Code injection in TP-Link TL-WDR7660 firmware 2.0.30 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code through a LAN HTTP request. The httpProcDataSrv handler accepts JSON POST data at /ds and treats cfgsync with the do method as sufficient to bypass httpDoAuthorize. The public PoC establishes no authenticated session and invokes a device reset, while the published impact extends to arbitrary code execution.
