Authenticated command execution via CLI input injection
Published Oct 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
OS command injection in HPE Aruba Instant affected releases allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through the CLI. The command-line interface passes insufficiently neutralized input to the underlying operating system, allowing shell command injection. Administrative access to the network-reachable CLI is required, and successful exploitation executes arbitrary commands as a privileged operating-system user.
