Configuration disclosure via packaged phpinfo example
Published Aug 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Information disclosure in affected phpFastCache releases allows remote attackers to read PHP configuration data from an example script. The distributed docs/examples/phpinfo.php file invokes phpinfo(), and Composer archives included that executable documentation file. Exposure requires the application vendor directory to be web-accessible; requesting the example endpoint reveals PHP, server, environment, and configuration details.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
