Authenticated board disclosure via missing Circle membership check
Published Sep 7, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Authorization bypass in Nextcloud Deck before 1.2.9, 1.3.0 through 1.4.3, and 1.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to read Circle-shared boards. The board-sharing authorization path accepts a matching Circle ACL without verifying that the requesting account has a valid membership level in that Circle. Any authenticated account on the same Nextcloud instance can therefore read boards shared to a Circle it has not joined, while integrity and availability remain unaffected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
