Improper input validation in FreeRDP before 2.4.0 on Windows allows remote attackers to receive leaked memory through clipboard requests. The wf_cliprdr_server_file_contents_request function uses the peer-supplied listIndex to index fileDescriptor or file_names without first comparing it with nFiles. Exploitation requires an RDP session with clipboard file transfer available; the published research identifies a memory leak, not code execution.
