Cross-tenant recording replay via insufficient validation
Published Aug 13, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Improper input validation in Mitel Interaction Recording before 6.7 allows remote authenticated users to replay another tenant's recordings. Mitel's PowerPlay Web component fails to validate tenant ownership when selecting previously recorded conversations, exposing sensitive call data. Only users with Administrator rights on multitenancy deployments can reach the function; impact is confidentiality of other tenants' recordings.
