Proximal denial of service via incorrect bounds check

Out-of-bounds read in MediaTek 1905 daemon 2.0.2 allows physically proximate attackers to interrupt service through crafted EasyMesh traffic. The daemon applies an incorrect bounds check while processing IEEE 1905 input, permitting a read beyond the intended buffer. Wi-Fi EasyMesh R2 must be used; no privileges or user interaction are required, and the reported consequence is remote denial of service.
