Arbitrary SQL execution via unquoted archive parameters
Published Aug 24, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in SmartDataSoft SmartBlog for PrestaShop before 4.0.6 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. The archive controller passes day, month, and year into getArchiveResult(), which concatenates them unquoted into an SQL query; the category controller similarly accepts id_category. Unauthenticated HTTP access reaches the archive path, enabling database reads or writes within the application's database privileges; the category path requires a particular module setting.
