Intranet port scanning via unrestricted activation requests
Published Jan 20, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
SSRF in Reprise License Manager through 14.2BL4 allows remote attackers to scan intranet services via License Activation. The web interface accepts an attacker-controlled actserver destination and sends an activation request without blocking LAN addresses or restricting destination ports. The interface must be network-accessible; responses expose the reachability of internal hosts and services from the license server's network position.
