Authenticated SQL execution via template property ordering
Published Jul 26, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in NavigateCMS 2.9.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL through a template order. The templates.php edit path passes template-properties-order to property::reorder, which splits the value and concatenates each element into a WHERE id clause without numeric validation or parameter binding. A valid CSRF token and an authenticated backend session are required; successful exploitation can read or alter the backend database.
