Browser script execution via reflected confid parameter
Published Jul 25, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in NCH Software Quorum 2.03 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The /conferencebrowseuploadfile endpoint reflects the confid query value without adequate neutralization, while its basic script-tag filtering accepts alternate payloads. An authenticated attacker must persuade another user to open the crafted request; script execution occurs in that user's Quorum browser context.
