Authenticated script execution via reflected conference identifier
Published Jul 25, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected cross-site scripting in NCH Software Quorum 2.03 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script in another user’s browser. The /conference endpoint reflects its id query parameter into the generated page without adequate output neutralization, and simple tag filtering is bypassable. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to induce another user to open the crafted response, enabling script execution in the Quorum origin.
