Browser data access via stored display-name script
Published Jul 25, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in NCH Software Quorum 2.03 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script in another user's browser. Quorum stores a crafted User Display Name without adequate input validation, and its web interface later renders the value as executable JavaScript. An authenticated account must save the payload, and another user must view the affected interface; execution can read or alter browser-accessible data in that user's session.
