Stored script execution via blacklist IP field
Published Jul 25, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in NCH Axon PBX 2.22 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via a blacklist IP address. The blacklist IP field accepts JavaScript payloads without adequate input validation and stores them for later rendering by the web interface. Exploitation requires authenticated access to plant the value and a victim to view the affected page, where the script runs in that victim's browser context.
