Authenticated script execution via reflected id parameter
Published Jul 25, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in NCH Software IVM Attendant 5.12 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script via /ogmprop?id=. The web control panel reflects the id query value into its response without adequate input validation, allowing browser-executable JavaScript. Exploitation requires authentication and a victim to open the crafted request; the script runs within the victim's IVM web origin and can access session-visible page data.
