Authenticated script execution via reflected folder parameter
Published Jul 25, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in NCH IVM Attendant 5.12 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via a crafted folder parameter. The /ogmlist handler reflects the folder query value into an HTML response without sufficient input validation, causing supplied script markup to execute in a viewer's browser. Exploitation requires authenticated access and user interaction to load the crafted URL, exposing browser-accessible data or actions in the affected interface.
