File disclosure via traversal in logprop requests
Published Jul 25, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Path traversal in NCH Axon PBX 2.22 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files through logprop requests. The logprop endpoint accepts parent-directory sequences in its file parameter and resolves the supplied path without confining access to the intended directory. An authenticated session is required, and disclosure is limited to files readable under the privileges of the Axon process.
